Been learning more polish, and getting more into a daily rhythm of work, and Warsaw life.  It seems with every new meeting that Poland is really open for innovation and excited about the special things I have to offer from both America and Germany.  What appeals to me most is that I wanted to go into education, and youth training and Mladi has really opened my eyes to my gift and passion for this. Agata and her NGO team have been absolutely brilliant at fitting me into all the process and work.

Alexandra in Deutschland

Alexandra aus Rumänien hat für 3 Monate zusammen mit Alex aus Berlin zusammengearbeitet, ein Gastunternehmer, den BUPNET betreut.

Sky in Poland – Part 1

Nachdem BUPNET einige Wochen lang keine Jungunternehmer ins europäische Ausland begleitet hat, ist Sky seit Anfang März in Polen. Seine Eindrücke aus Warschau vom ersten Monat von insgesamt 6 Moanten hat er uns geschildert.

It has been a wonderful start here with HE, learning so much. I have been so warmly welcomed and everyone is really open and exciting to work with during the initial introductions. I am now quite familiar with daily operations, flow, my place and my value. Additionally, I have a good idea of the goals we are working toward and how to achieve them daily.  The English-Polish barrier is a bit of hurdle and can sometimes complicate things but it is a great challenge to rise above nationality, cultures and find common ground and grow.

EYE Netzwerk-Treffen in Brüssel

Es war mal wieder so weit: Alle europäischen EYE-Kontaktstellen haben sich für das Halbjahres-Meeting im Frühling getroffen. Dieses Mal fand das Treffen am 18. und19. März wieder in Brüssel statt – anlässlich des 10jährigen Jubiläums von EYE ein angemessener Rahmen.

Neben den bewährten Gelegenheiten zu Gesprächen mit den europäischen Kollegen und dem gemeinsamen Erfahrungsaustausch, stand das Treffen ganz unter dem Zeichen des Geburtstages.

Sophia in Portugal – Fazit

Nach sechs Monaten Leben und Arbeiten ist unsere Jungunternehmerin Sophia wieder in Deutschland angekommen. Ihr letzter Bericht ist ein Fazit, wie ihr der Austausch mit Erasmus für Jungunternehmer gefallen und weitergeholfen hat.

Der Austausch mit dem EYE Program half und hilft mir weiterhin eine klare Vision für die Selbständigkeit zu entwickeln. In meiner Zeit bei Mass Lab habe ich selbständig eigene Projekte bearbeitet, konnte eng mit Kunden und Ingenieuren zusammen arbeiten und den Büroalltag erleben. Im Büro entwickelte ich auf kreative Weise Ideen, um meinen Designansatz in das Designteam einzubringen. 
Ich arbeitete an Wettbewerben und lokalen Designprojekten. Während des Austauschs arbeitete ich eng mit unserem Team zusammen und konnte meine Designideen erläutern und diskutieren. Das Program half mir meinen Businessplan weiter zu entwickeln und stets neue Ideen mit einfließen zu lassen. Während des Büroalltags gelang es mir außerdem, Aspekte der Bürostruktur zu analysieren, die die Essenz einer erfolgreichen Führung ausmacht.

Sophia in Portugal – 5

Jungunternehmer

Jungunternehmerin Sophia, die mit Erasmus für Jungunternehmer in Portugal ist, hat inzwischen ihren 5. Monat in einem Architekturbüro Porto erlebt. Während dieser Zeit vertieft sie ihre Kenntnisse immer weiter.

In the first week of December, I participated in three competitions in Finland to finalize the drawings to put on the presentation plans.

Sophia ist nun schon den 4. Monat in Portugal. Auch der November war ein intensiver und spannender Monat für unsere Jungunternehmerin…

In November I was continuing the work for the house of the private client in Porto. We had a meeting to present the update of the work we did during the last weeks and to also let the client know what will be the following steps of the project. Inzwischen ist unsere Jungunternehmerin Sophia seit 3 Monaten in Porto. Und sie ist dort so gut aufgenommen worden, dass sie nun ihr eigenes Projekt durchführen darf. Aber lest selbst.

 

At the beginning of October, I got the chance to start a housing project for a private Portuguese client by myself. The site is located in Porto, not far away from the seaside. It will be a new construction of apartments. The challenge will be the height of the new building because I have to take the surrounding buildings into consideration of the design.
